About Franklin ~ Mini Foxie X (on trial 8/5/15)
Meet Franklin, a handsome 5 year old mini foxy who has huge amounts of love to give! This little guy is cuddly and affectionate. He would make the ultimate lap dog.
Franklin loves being close to the humans in his life and trots after you as you go about the daily chores. His happy little face and sweet nature will add sunshine to anyone's day.
He was quite shy and frightened when he first came into care but warmed quickly when given a full belly, a warm bed and some much needed love. He has been great with other dogs and is tolerant of our 9 month old baby who gives him endless cuddles and kisses. He is a true gentleman and licks her back, wagging his tail.
Some of Franklin's favourite things are belly rubs, basking in the morning sun, treats, walks, scratches behind the ears and car trips and the adventures that come with them.
He has shown that he understands how to sit, stay, give high fives, go to his bed and come when called. He also begs by going up on his hind legs and kind of waving or dancing. He does this when he is excited and when he sees delicious treats.
Franklin would suit someone who could help perfect his skills by offering him their time and patience as well as someone who is willing to give him all the cuddles he needs.
This little guy just needs someone to love him and somewhere to belong. Will you give him the forever home he truly deserves?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
