About Ilana
Hey Folks! Meet the lovely Ilana! She has just been desexed and is looking for a loving new home. Ilana was brought to Riverbank Animal Hospital after being hit by a car. She had no owner so Happy Paws Haven put up their hand to help save Ilana's life. She had her injured leg amputated and has since been desexed and she is ready for a loving home!
Ilana does have some special needs. She would prefer a single dog home and needs only a few or no steps. She loves people but can be timid so is looking for a gentle supportive owner who will help guide her positively. She walks nicely on lead, is crate trained and likes cats... She LOVES cuddles likes nothing more to be with you. Ilana is currently in a foster home.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
