About Crystal ~border collie
Hi my name is Crystal; as in Crystal Chandelier and I am here waiting to light up your life. I am an 8 week old female purebred Border Collie and full of personality. I will grow up to be a medium size dog and I am one of the most intelligent of all breeds, I have a superior intellect, combined with his intensity and obsessive zeal for working. Highly intelligent means I learn very quickly - but that includes learning how to do anything I set my mind to
As I am only 8 weeks old there is really not a lot I can tell you about myself, except I love playing with balls and chew toys, the balls are so much fun you just give them a little tap with your paw and they roll and roll and I have to run and run to chase it so it doesn’t get away from me.
I am currently living with two really big doggies, and they are heaps of fun, we are already wrestling and playing like we are old mates.
At the moment I am 4.5kg of pure love, and whilst I like the other dogs company and I am more than happy to sit beside you or have cuddles with you at every opportunity. I am also very smart I already know my name, learning to sit for my meals and come when I am called, not a bad effort for a gal of my young age.
I am off for my vaccinations and microchipping shortly and will be available shortly thereafter. I will need to be desexed as well.
For more information or to meet Crystal please email my foster carer at kazsam66@gmail.com. Crystal is in foster care in Charlestown NSW 2290, and will not be available for interstate adoptions.
Crystal’s adoption fee is $650. Adoption fee includes her/his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Crystal will only be available for adoption in the Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast and Port Stephens area, as she will need to be returned for desexing at 4months of age
Medical notes
Will need to be returned to our vet for desexing at 4 months of age
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
