About Max & Joe ~ Mini Foxy X ~ Senior (trial 30/5/15)
10yo Max and 9yo Joe are a pair of snuggly, cuddly mini foxie x. If you are looking to share your lounge with a pair of well mannered affectionate mature gents then these are the guys for you. Let me tell you a bit about these pair.
Max likes meeting new people, gentle walks with his best mate Joe. Max walks well on the lead after the initial excitement of the great outdoors and loves to go out in the car. Max loves to curl up on the lounge snuggled up as close as possible to his foster mum and sleeps all night wrapped in his bunny rug on the end of the bed. He loves his food and eats 2 meals a day as well as meaty bones to help keep his teeth pearly white. Max may be a senior but he enjoys playing with his foster siblings, chasing a ball and running with the big fur kids. Max is healthy and looks and behaves years younger than he is.
Joe is a little smaller. He is never very far away from Max and also loves a cuddle on your lap. Like Max he loves to sleep on the end of the bed wrapped in a rug, loves his food and is extremely well mannered.
They are great with kids but, due to their size, older children would be better. These boys have never, while in foster care, shown any aggression or even growled at another dog or a human. They are ideal companions who are very low maintenance and are happiest when they are curled up with their human. They rarely bark and are currently in care with 6 dogs of varying sizes. Max and Joe must be adopted together, have access to inside and outside and sleep inside at night.
Ideal Home: Comfy lounge, warm bed, unlimited cuddles, daily walks and play time. Two meals a day and some meaty bones. No cats, they find them very entertaining and would love to chase them if foster mum gave them the chance.
If you would like to know more about Max and Joe please contact their foster mum Victoria by email vdavies93@gmail.com. There is so much more to be told about this wonderful pair of gents. Mac and Joe are in foster care in Kurri Kurri (near Cessnock NSW).
Max & Joe's adoption fee is $300 for the pair and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
