About Ringo ~ Red Cattle Dog (on trial 17/4/15)
Meet this gorgeous guy Ringo. Although he is not Ringo from the Beatles he is definitely a star in our eyes. Ringo is a 6 year old Red Cattle dog. He is extremely friendly dog with all types of animals and is looking for his forever home.
Ringo has a beautiful soft thick coat and a lovely bushy tail which he is constantly wagging. He can sit and shake hands and is very eager to please. \ If anyone is sitting down, he likes nothing more than resting his head on a lap for a pat.
Ringo is looking for somewhere to belong and give back all the love and loyalty he is so willing to provide. He is the perfect dog for anyone or any family. Whilst in care he has been mixing in with two other dogs, a cat, chooks, ducks and rabbits. He has shown no concern regarding any of these animals and is happy to walk amongst the poultry without so much as a glance in their direction. He is happy just lying around with the other dogs and does not show any signs of anxiety. He has only barked on the odd occasion and only when the other dogs have barked.
At night he sleeps in a crate, as do my dogs, and appears very happy to know he is safe. He is happy to eat whatever is offered and his current diet includes dry food, kangaroo mince and chicken necks. He has no sign of any skin issues or allergies.
Ringo was rescued from a pound. He loved his car ride from the pound and sat or lay down throughout the entire trip. Whilst at home without human company, he shows no sign of anxiety and is very relaxed.
He does not chew, dig or try to get out of the yard. He walks beautifully on a lead and collar with no pulling.
Ringo recently had a vet check and he is in 100% good health, his teeth, eyes and hearing are all in excellent condition, the vet even commented on how well behaved he was too. Could Ringo be THE PERFECT DOG?!
Ringo is hoping to have his second chance at his new forever home. He will love and be loyal to the person or people who will be there for him always.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
