About Chloe
Hey, it’s Chloe! I’m a 5yr old Jack Russell x chi and although I came from an only dog home, I love to play with my 5 other furry friends in my foster home. I do find large dogs rather intimidating so would be happier in a home on my own or with another small friend to play with.
Whilst I am cat curious, the resident cat in my previous foster home had not been as happy for a meet and greet and remained steadfastly resistant to my charm. I see this as their issue, not mine. Due to past experiences, I will need some time to warm to males, but once you have gained my trust, I will certainly welcome any form of affection you wish to show me.
I have a rather strong flea allergy, and therefore will need a strict flea regime to reduce flare-ups. My foster mum baths me in Malaseb which helps keep it under control along with regular flea preventions. I love my food and not fussy with what I’m given although probably a little on the tubby side, so would benefit greatly with regular walks and exercise.
My foster mum calls me her ‘little shadow’ but if she’s not around, I’m happy to get some relaxing tummy rubs from anyone who is willing to give them. I was previously taught to jump straight into my owners arms when standing, but my foster mum has worked very hard to stop this. I do forget sometimes if I get excited but am learning that this is not ok.
My foster mum also wanted me to mention that if I am given the opportunity to escape my home, I will run like Forest Gump! I know she’s only concerned for my safety and so have included this so that my new family are aware of my flight antics.
I loveee children and in my current foster home, I take it in turns sleeping at the end of 2 of the kids beds and am never in any rush to get up of a morning. I am a very affectionate doggie who will adapt easily to almost any situation and certainly welcome endless amounts of cuddles.
I would suit a home where someone was looking for a companion or a home with older doggie friendly kids and would enjoy the company of another little companion, but do adapt well to a range of lifestyles and homes.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Chloe. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Chloe, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
