About Nina on trial in her new home
Nina is on trial in her new home.
This is our Nina who has now been in care with us two months. Nina came into care from a local animal shelter she had been surrendered with her sister and her sister was adopted. Nina has not had a good start to her young life having been bred in a backyard with her mother being a German Shepherd and her father a Belgium shepherd (Malinois). \ This home was not a suitable environment for a young dog to develop good life skills.
Nina needs a calm and experienced owner to develop her into a loving and less fearful dog. Currently in a home with three other shepherds she is now relaxed and happy around these dogs who are calm and good natured to her. Nina is learning that life can be fun and people can be trusted.
She is going to need a responsible owner who will continue to socialise her and develop her confidence with the world.
Nina is now nine months old and is a German Shepherd cross Malinois shepherd and she will grow into a large dog. We do not feel that Nina could go to a home with children under ten years of age due to her insecurities.
She is house trained, is voice responsive and is very loving and extremely protective of her human pack. So a careful balance is needed so she understands her position in the household and remains a happy good natured dog.
For more information on Nina please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Nina is desexed, has been vaccinated C5 is on heart worm prevention and is microchipped. She is also on flea treatment and has been regularly wormed.
