About Taren - Amputee
Introducing the very smart, active and charming Taren Kate the Kelpie (D122). Taren Kate has fully recovered from having her back right leg amputated following being hit by a car. Taren Kate is now ready to start her search for that perfect match.
Taren Kate is approximately 1 year old and she is adjusting remarkedly with having 3 legs. She is extremely people focussed and loves nothing more than a squeaky toy or go for runs in the dog park or a drive in the car. Taren Kate also loves to keep her mind active and challenged. Taren Kate has been found to be good with other dogs, but is not a fan of cats.
Taren Kate has been trialled with sheep in the local sheep yards and she does not show any signs of being a working girl. She was happy to mingle with the sheep and did not show any signs of chasing or mouthing the sheep.
Taren Kate is toilet trained and is used to being crated over night. Due to her activity level and need for stimulation a standard back yard life is not suitable for this girl.
If you would like to know more about Taren Kate please call Carolyn on 0427 221 231.
Taren Kate's adoption fee will be $350 and she will go to her forever home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
Taren Kate is one special girl and we really want to find that special home for her.
Medical notes
Taren Kate has had her back right leg amputated following a car accident. She is adjusting remarkably to having 3 legs. We don't anticipate there will be any ongoing medical issues for Taren Kate in her life a 3 legged kelpie.
