About Champ ~ Kelpie x Jack Russell puppy (Trial 17/4/15
Champ is a beautiful 10 week old Kelpie x Jack Russell puppy. He is a typical, energetic boy who loves playing chase in the backyard with his doggy friends and chewing on his toys but when it’s time for a rest, this loving boy’s favourite place is curled up in your lap.
Champ is currently living with other small to medium sized dogs. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to socialise with them, therefore it would be ideal if Champ could go to a home where there is another friendly dog for company and someone that is home a lot to supervise him due to his young age.
Champ is a clever boy and learns quickly with positive reward training. He is learning to be house trained as he will need to be allowed inside to spend time bonding with his family. We recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.
Champ will likely grow to be a medium size dog and will therefore need suitable, secure fencing. It is important to remember when adopting a puppy that they are a lifetime commitment and a family member.
Champ's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Champ is in care in Beresfield, NSW and for more information about this special little man you can contact his carer Debbie on 0408 825 714 (preferred) or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com \

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
