Meanwhile, in tiny town.....
This pint-sized ball of fun is CJ, a happy go lucky chihuahua weighing in at around 2kg (yes, really. Pretty sure I've met guinea pigs bigger than this guy). He is a fearless little explorer who has made himself very at home in his foster home, despite being there for only 2 weeks. He is good with cats and has encountered dogs of all shapes and sizes out and about at the park with no sign of fear or aggression towards any of them. He loves to play with his toys and is in general an active little guy - he would be great on his own or in a home with another small dog to play with. CJ is not a do to be carried around in a handbag, this little guy is adventurous and knows that despite his small stature, he is definitely still a dog! CJ's foster carer has described him as a very quick learner, independent but also very happy to lay on your lap and get lots of pats and cuddles. This tiny chap with his enormous brown eyes will capture your heart and your home.

We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0403 152 991. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Some of our dogs are located in our shelter in Northam so you will need to meet it there. Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
