About Jojo (Cat Friendly)
Jojo is in foster care in a family environment and lives with two cats and 2 ferrets, and a foster host female Staffy.
This gorgeous loving boy came to us when his family had to move and couldn't take him or the female dog they owned. His 'sister' was adopted quickly through the owner, but JoJo came to rescue. Since being with us he has won the hearts of us all. He is an easy boy. Doesn't expect much and gives a tonne in return.
JoJo is strong in body but so gentle in soul. He loves people and if he gets half a chance will sneak big sloppy dog kisses in between pats. He loves the kong and will play catch me games with you as you try to get it from him. He then puts it down so you can throw it for him to catch it mid air.
JoJo is a massive wiggle bum who just wants love (to give and to get). He socialises well with other dogs but preferably not undesexed males (they are a bit intimidating for him).
JoJo is not a barker, not an escape artist and is very well house trained. He can be inside for hours but never toilets inside. He is good with kids however, could knock over real littlies simply because of his strength. Older kids would be ideal.
JoJo is a strong and eager walker, and loves anyone who is holding his lead. He is a great swimmer and loves to play ball, that's if he can't find his beloved kong.
JoJo looks big and tough, however he is anything but. He is a true softy, extremely affectionate and a really happy soul. He has become great buddies with one of the other desexed males in his current foster home and they share the ball and they share the love. JoJo frequently gives his foster brother big sloppy kisses just to show him how much he loves his mate.

Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Jojo is located on Central Coast of NSW.
Please contact Amanda via email only should you wish to meet Jojo. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Jojo, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
