Johnny

He is sweet natured, friendly and well adjusted with dogs and people. Seems to be good with children. Curious but willing to learn to befriend other animals. Non aggressive around food. Playful, exuberant, cheeky and loving. He is very good around the house. House trained, calm did not destroy anything and coped well with me going to work. He is learning very quickly and is responsive to training. Can now sit, stay for short periods, understands "wait" when getting out of the car or going through a gate. He has (after 2 weeks on the lead) been going for walks off the lead with me, as long as it is free of distractions like dogs and dangers like cars. I have been practising his recall with him and he now comes running back when i call him and skids to a "sit" in front of me. I have also been working on his self control and boundaries, and half the time he does the right thing, even although you can see the adolescent boy struggling with the good dog inside! he has bonded well with me and respects both me and misu.
