About Siouxsie ~ kelpie x staffy puppy (Trial 20/4/15)
Siouxsie is 16 week old kelpie x staffy mix (but looks mainly like a kelpie) she is extremely loveable and lives for the company of humans, k-9s or others.
She loves children, so a young family home would be ideal as she thrives on attention and even other pets as she can get lonely easily. She will become an integral part of the family as her character demands it.
Siouxsie is energetic and very much still in the puppy exploration age, so puppy training will be a must in her new home. She has mastered how to sit, enjoys walks to the park, playing with toys and also cuddles.
Ideally the best home situation for Siouxsie would be a medium to large yard for playing, (otherwise daily walks will be a must), and currently she can sleep in a covered snuggly area outside or really loves her bed inside.
For more information or to meet Siouxsie please phone foster carer Casey on 0422082086 or email specialdanger82@gmail.com . Siouxsie is in foster care in Hamilton, NSW 2303 (Newcastle).
Siouxsie’ $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
