Gigi ~ Greyhound X Staffy (on trial 25/7/15)

Introducing princess Gigi, a sweet natured and affectionate, two year old female Greyhound cross Staffy who is full of energy, love and fun. This sweetheart is looking for a family to call her own and will return the love and attention she is shown tenfold.

She is a very loving girl who is also very smart. Gigi knows how to sit, shake, come to her name and is house trained. Her great personality makes Gigi a joy to have around. She is a friendly and playful dog that gets along well with other dogs and would be an ideal fur companion for a family with another dog, or even two. She is also friendly towards children. \ As she is unfamiliar with cats we are not sure how she would react with them so would suggest a slow and supervised introduction if you have other small animals.

Gigi absolutely loves her food and will happily eat anything you put in front of her. A healthy balanced diet will ensure she keeps her coat shiny, her teeth clean and her body in prime condition. Every girl wants to look her best and Gigi is no exception.

A true nature lover, Gigi enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and having lots of fun with her fur friends, her human companions and her multitude of much loved toys. Rubber and rope toys are her favourite and since learning to play tug-o-war during her time in foster care she has become an expert at the game. She loves to go for walks and runs and is improving on lead. She can be excited at first and pulls a little but once you are in a rhythm she settles and walks like a dream.

While the outdoors are fun it is important to Gigi that she be welcome in the house at her new forever home. Gigi really appreciates being allowed to come inside and have cuddle time with her human family and friends.

Gigi understands that humans do have to go out from time to time, be it to work or to the shops to pick up more food and toys for her. She copes well being left at home, especially if she has a fur friend for company. She does not bark a lot, and when you return home she will spoil you with lots of hugs and kisses.

Gigi would be suitable for an active couple looking for a new member of their family, or a person that has an active lifestyle and looking for a walking or running companion. She would also do well in a family with some children however given her size it is important that very small children be supervised with any animal in case they are accidently knocked over.

Princess Gigi is ready and waiting to find her loving family. She can’t wait to start her new wonderful life.
