About Max ~ Jack Russell X (on trial 16/5/15)
Presenting Maxwell or just Max for short - Max is a 12 month old male Jack Russell X. We are unsure what he is crossed with but he is quite long in the body. He is a gorgeous young boy, who is very friendly and love’s attention whether that be from humans or other furry four-legged creatures.
Max lives with 3 other dogs, 2 pug x's and his best mate Pinchy, a 5 month old Staffy X Boxer who is also available for adoption. They love to have a play and chase each other but Max also enjoys snuggling up to you on the couch.
He is a very happy boy and loves playing with my partner’s 4yr old son. Although he isn't too keen on the neighbour’s horses, they scare him a little bit.
Max will slot in nicely to any type of home, he is more than happy to be inside and snuggle into you on the couch or running around with dogs in the back yard, but just like any other dog he will need regular walks as he is very energetic.
He will need a secure yard with high fences.
For more information or to meet Max, please contact his foster carer Lauren on 0400 400 789 or email laurendare@hotmail.com. \ Lauren is in foster care in Salt Ash, NSW (Port Stephens, North East of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Max's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
