Pete

Pete is a lovely young dog. He is attentive and willing.

He has a friendly, sensible air about him, being playful but calm. He has an "off switch" which is highly desirable in a kelpie.

When you are outside, he'll be nearby, watching what's happening. He's happy to sit where he can see you and wait until there is something to do.

Pete is black and tan with a little black through the tan areas on his legs and muzzle.

He plays well with other dogs of different ages.

He would be suitable for a home with adults or dog savvy youngsters. In foster care, he responds to a firm "no" from a four year old if he gets a little excited.

You will be rewarded any time spent training Pete - he is a super smart, blank canvas who is ready to learn. He has already learned great manners and to sit.

He is very food motivated which will be a great help in teaching him new things, along with his a lovely nature and eagerness to please.
