About Archie ~ Labrador (On Trial 31/3/15)
Introducing handsome Archie - Archie is a beautiful, sweet natured 3 year old Labrador who has energy to burn. He is a very lovable, friendly and gentle guy with real manners.
Archie is a very low maintenance pooch and loves to be with people; he loves the cats and other animals - he just wants to be friends with everyone he meets.
I cannot express enough how nice this boy is, he walks well on a lead, loves the water and cuddles. He can be left alone and is happy to lie in the sun. Since his stay with us he has been sleeping inside.
Even though Archie would suit most environments he truly deserves and loves company! My son has a disability and he understands this, he has never jumped on him, Archie is just happy to lay by his side. As his carer this will be very hard to let this gentleman go!
So if you’re looking for a real companion and a true friend Archie is the real deal!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
