About Jackie Brown and Rosie (On Trial 2/5/15)
Introducing two sweet little girls: Jackie Brown and Rosie. Jackie Brown is a 2yo Chihuahua cross, a lovely, slim girl with lots of energy. Rosie is a 3yo wire hair Jack Russell Terrier who loves nothing better than to sit at your feet or, better still, on your lap. She also likes to play with toys and chase a ball around the yard.
They both love playing and going for a walk. They are very well behaved and don't pull on the lead (well, not too much). Jackie has so much character, she is a very intelligent and loveable. Rosie is the quieter of the two. She is very well mannered and not a barker. They are a bonded pair and need to stay together.
The girls are both toilet trained and no trouble. They are both indoor dogs but do like to go outside as well, especially if you are out there with them. They must be allowed inside when people are home and to sleep inside. Being small dogs, they'll need good fences with no small gaps underneath.
They get on well with other dogs but will chase cats and chooks. They're not suited to live with children under 8 because they're small and might be hurt if dropped or roughly handled.
They are a pleasure to have around and will bring endless amusement and affection to their forever family

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
