About Bata
Are you looking for the perfect, quiet and affectionate house cat? Well, you've found him!
Bata came into care with his brother Anubis. However being the younger sibling at 12 months, he had developed a less confident personality. After a week in care however, both boys are confident and happy little purr machines. However Bata can sometimes startle with loud noises or sudden movements, so we feel he is best suited to a home without children. Bata is now displaying a more confident personality than his brother, and loves nothing more than climbing all over you.
Bata is incredibly quiet, he is not a vocal cat at all. You will barely realize he is there! I've never heard him meow.
He has not shown any signs of aggression or fear, and very happily shares a bowl of food (Both wet and dry) or water with his brother Anubis, and loves nothing more than snuggling up tight with him in a bed.
He loves a lap to sit on and will constantly rub up against you, purring away. He has such a beautiful nature. He has a gorgeous, easy to maintain semi-fluffy coat which adds a real sense of regality without the strenuous work needed to maintain it. He is incredibly soft and silky, and has a beautiful sheen to his coat.
Bata's adopters will need to understand that he will need some time to "open up" to you. As long as you provide him with lots of yummy food and always keep your lap open for snuggles and smooches, he will fall in love with you very quickly and learn how great you are. However he is not a cat that will come running straight out of his carrier and rub up against you. If this is the sort of cat you are after, we have plenty of other adult cats or kittens that will suit you, so please don't hesitate to ask us!
