About Gypsy ~ On Trial 27/5/15
Gypsy is a delightful 3 year old, female, English Staffy who is sweet, gentle and very keen to please. Gypsy has a gorgeous staffy smile that stretches from ear to ear!!
Gypsy loves to go for walks and she walks well on a lead. She would love a furever home where she receives a walk or a run each day. She would also love to join you for rides in the car or family adventures in the big outdoors. Gypsy has perfect table manners and is a very good eater - she responds well to training as she's treat focused and loves to please you for rewards.
Gypsy is currently in foster care with two other large dogs and a 6 month old cattle pup and she has become friends with all of them very quickly. She loves to run around the yard and play chasings with them.
Gyspy will need good fencing as she's a friendly little girl who could get out of low fencing to say hi to people. She is best suited to a home with another dog as a play mate, and a home without cats or pocket pets as she is far too curious about them.
Gypsy has spent some time with small children and she is very well mannered with them. She would suit a home with children or teenagers as she plays well and is good at sharing.
Gypsy would be comfortable sleeping in a warm and cosy kennel outside or inside if it's on offer. She would love a home where she is allowed indoors to hang out with her furever family members. She is out of puppy stage so she is quite well mannered when inside. Like most dogs she would not suit a home where she is left alone in the yard as she is very social and loves her humans.

Gypsy's adoption fee is $300 and includes her is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
