About Izzy
Hey, it’s irresistible Izzy, I’m a fun loving German Pointer x and I’m being fostered in a home with 7 other foster siblings as well as turtles, snakes and lizards and I love it! I’ve always got another furry friend to wrestle with, play with or just snuggle up with. I’m fairly active and do love to go for walks, go swimming and my all time favourite, is when my foster mum and dad take me, along with all my foster siblings to meet up with our off leash walking club where I get to run with all our other friendly 4 legged mates.
My foster mum says that I’m a smart girl, and she should know. I just love her! So much so, that when she gets up in the morning to get ready for work, I’m right behind her like a shadow. I love human interaction and will always do my best to please you. Sometimes, my foster mum and dad don’t look too pleased with me, but I’m way too cute to stay cranky with, and they adore me.
My foster mum thinks that I would be best suited in a home with an active family with older kids 8yrs+ due to the fact I get really excited and that may be a little overwhelming for the littlies...but I’m a gentle giant with so much love to give. I live both inside and outside as a part of the family and my foster mum and dad would love me to be adopted into a home where this would continue.
As I’m still young, ongoing training is essential so that I grow up to be a well mannered sociable girl who will no doubt provide you with many years of love and cherished memories. To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
All of my vetwork is complete and I'm available for adoption now.

Please contact Lisa via email only should you wish to meet Izzy.
When enquiring about Izzy, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
