About Tandara (You can camp here)
Tandara - 4 year old male blue heeler
Tandy and a female red heeler were found treading water in a silage dam outside of an aboriginal community. \ The poor pups were stinky and tired.
He came into care and the 1st thing he got was a professional groom. He smells and looks so much better and considering his water ordeal, took it really well.
Tandy is a real sweet boy, super friendly with all dogs and people, doesn't even mind my cats. He is happy to be an outside dog, doesn't bark, except at possums or strangers entering the property. Loves to play ith his toys, other dogs and people.
If allowed he would be a great lap dog, loves company. That being said, he would also make a great "blokes" dog. Love the idea of jumping on the ute and going for a drive.
He is such a gentle soul really would love a lot of love and attention.
He is fine with children, but can sometimes be overwhelmed, so would prefer a household with visiting children only.
Even tough he loves other dogs, he would be fine as an only dog, as he is extremely people focused.
He can sit, stay, leave, back, down, up, inside, outside. You wont need a spray bottle with this boy, however, we always urge our adopters to continue with formal training. Dog training is about as much as making the human understand the dog, as it is about training the dog. It is a great way to bond with your mate.
