Say Hi to Tyler, a lovable, intelligent and affectionate boy.

Tyler is quite independent, but loves cuddles and affection when offered and has the endearing habit of tapping your knee or tickling you with his whiskers if you are a bit slow.

Tyler has very good house manners - no rummaging in the rubbish bin or stealing food from Tyler. Tyler is house trained and can use a doggy door and is very clean in his toilet habits.

He is a well-mannered boy in the home and will sit quietly with you when you are on the computer or watching TV. Tyler will lie on his bed when asked and has been easy to train not to jump up or on furniture. He sits on command and has good recall and is learning to drop with food rewards. Tyler is good with school aged children but hasn’t been tested with very small children or cats.

Tyler loves his walks and playtime but is not demanding; he walks quite well on the lead and is improving all the time.

He was a completely unsocialised dog with other dogs when he came to us and was initially frightened. We have worked through that and the problem is he is now so excited and wanting to play with new dogs that he can put off other dogs with his lack of doggie manners. He would be great with a layback dog that would be happy to just tell him off when he is too pushy or an only dog where the family were willing to work with us to socialize him further.

Tyler would love a home where he feels comfortable and secure, with people who are happy to play with him and show him affection and help himv to broaden his experiences.

This gorgeous boy will quickly become the light of your life. Just give him a chance. He will charm you in a heartbeat.
