About Pongo
Pongo is an absolutely gorgeous dog blessed with a sweet and easygoing nature. He is a little on the chubby side at the moment, so would benefit greatly in an active family who will commit to taking him on daily walks and providing a calorie-controlled diet.
This friendly boy is fully toilet trained, enjoys car rides, and responds well to basic commands. He walks very well on his harness, and is fantastically tolerant of the energetic 16-month-old toddler who he lives with in his foster home.
A beautiful, friendly and happy young man... could Pongo be your pawfect new family member?
MY IDEAL HOME: A wonderful single person, couple or family who will let me stay inside with them and give me lots of affection would be so great. I just want to be treated like a part of the family. :) Hmm, a backyard where I can run around a bit every now and then would be terrific too.
Oh, and I would REALLY love to stay with my sister Perdi if at all possible!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Overall my energy level is moderate, although I love a good play with my ball.
MT SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I am very comfortable around the young children I have met.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm terrific with other dogs, and I don't really react one way or another when I see a cat.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
