About Brewster ~ Maremma x Wolfhound (Trial 2/4/15)
Hi, to my new family, my name is Brewster. I am a male, 12 week old, Maremma x Wolfhound puppy. I am a very chilled out and relaxed boy. I love nothing better than to play with my siblings and my carer's pooches of all ages, size and breeds. I love to play with all my toys and to chase a ball. After playing, I just go and find a comfy spot to have a nap for a few hours.
Ideally I would love to go to your home if you have another pooch that I can play with that will be of similar size to me when I grow up. I will grow very tall. or if you are a stay at home person then I can curl up at your feet while you are watching telly or on the computer on Facebook LOL. I can go to a rural property because I'm a working breed dog but you will need to have an enclosed yard within your rural fencing or I can go to a big backyard with very secure fencing as I don't want to get out or get stolen as sometimes this happens and I certainly don't want that.
My foster mum has cats and I think they are great, I sometimes play with them but I'm a bit too rough with her little kitten, I don't mean to but I don't realise that I'm so big at times.
I need to go to a family that will train me and play with me and include me in their daily activities. I can go with kids as I'm pretty gentle for my size. I need to sleep inside whilst I'm a puppy (or share a kennel with your other dog if you have one). When I'm fully grown I can sleep outside so long as I have a snuggly kennel under an undercover area, but I'd be quite happy to curl up on your bed or in a nice big bed of my own inside.
I would also love to go to puppy preschool and get some training so you can be proud of me when you ask me to sit, stay etc and I would love nothing better than to make you happy and see your smile.
I can only be adopted to the Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas, as I need to be returned to one of DRN's approved vets for desexing when I'm about 5 months old. I'm not available for interstate adoption.
If you think you can give me a great new home, please contact Krystina via email: krystina_ws@hotmail.com. I'm in care in Tingira Heights, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Brewster's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
