Jester *On Trial in His New Home*

*JESTER IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Jester the joker is a healthy, happy pup who was born in Wilcannia (western NSW) in November last year. Supposedly he’s a Pointer/Staffy mix and we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some Great Dane in there too as this fella has BIG paws! He and his brothers and sister came to us via Broken Hill pound where the fantastic Ranger removed literally hundreds of blood-sucking bush ticks from the poor puppies before sending them to us in Mildura where they’ve been lapping up the good life in foster care.

Handsome Jester is a gorgeous blue/grey colour and he has the most mesmerising eyes which tend to suck you in. He’s a fun-loving fella who gets along well with his carers other dogs especially their 6 month old puppy as the two of them play for hours on end. \ He’s not too bad around the household cat though can get a bit rough especially when he wants her to join in at playtime. He’s housetrained, uses a doggie door and loves a snuggle on the couch especially at night while you’re watching tv. Jester LOVES food and isn’t fussy so this is helping him with his training having already picked up “sit” and “drop”. He hasn’t spent any time on a lead as he’s only just fully vaccinated so will need some practice with this in his forever home. We guesstimate Jester will be the size of a large Labrador once he finishes growing.

As Jester is only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. \ Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep Jester stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.

Jester would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with another playful dog for company.
