About Jessie
Jessie is in need of a long term foster home. Unfortunately we just can't get it right! However now we have learnt EXACTLY what she needs!
Jessie has just turned 13 and was a stray from LDH, once owners and previous owners were contacted, no one wanted her. Probably because she was 'too old', they were getting a new puppy or just that they simply couldn't care for her any longer. She sat in LDH for 4 weeks whilst the owners decided what they wanted to do. They knew giving her up could lead to her death, however luckily the LDH had other plans and contacted us as soon as they could.
Jessie has been to a few foster homes and we are finally working her out and putting together the pieces of her broken life. Her foster homes have been amazing and everyone adores her, however everyone also only wants the best for her.
Can I describe to you Jessie's perfect home?
Jessie would love a foster home where she can be inside all snuggly and warm on a couch or an arm chair.
A foster home where she can be let out for multiple toilet breaks throughout the day (because she can't hold on sometimes)
A foster home where there is no cats. (But ferrets are ok :)
A foster home where if there is any other dogs, that they be quiet, non intrusive and as laid back as her. (She likes to just co-exist with other dogs not be bothered by them)
A foster home where she could get a little bit of exercise during the day, but not too much because of her arthritis. (Possibly up and down a beach somewhere)
A foster home where the foster carers are ok with taking her to the vet every month for her Catrophen injections
Jessie would love to find a long term foster home with VBTR where we can pay for all of her medical needs, her food and her comfort. We want to make sure Jessie is cared for and doted on like a princess for her time on this earth as it will be shorter than most rescue dogs :(
