Diego is on hold pending adoption.

This handsome young German Shepherd is Diego a stock coat black and tan boy who needs to find a loving home. Diego has come into care after being surrendered to a Sydney Animal Shelter. You see Diego showed too much interest in the resident cats and his former owner thought it best to part with Diego.

Being a large breed German Shepherd dog we are looking for a confident owner who will ensure Diego is provided with daily exercise and stimulation. Best suited to an active family who will ensure he has quality time inside the home with his human pack. Diego is a loving dog and very friendly and just wants to enjoy life. Excellent around other dogs very social and friendly.

We would suggest he NOT go to a home with cats or guinea pigs, pocket pets at this stage. Diego travels well in the car and loves his belly rubs and cuddles. Diego is voice responsive and walks reasonably well on the lead but would benefit from further lead training and we would suggest he be walked on a Martingale or Cannie Collar.

Diego has no health issues an all round happy natured, attentive dog looking for just the right home who will maintain a daily exercise program of walking and playtime for Diego.
