Asha ~ Kelpie x ~on trial 17/5/15

Hi, I’m Asha and i’m a one year old kelpie cross. I’m a lovely girl and I am looking for my perfect forever home. Let's cut to the chase, I am looking for a home where I can feel safe, secure, loved and wanted.

I an filled to the brim with love and joy. I am the most affectionate girl and once I get to know you I will shower you with love. I love both skin people and fur people and am happiest with a companion to shower with love, kisses and snuggles. Strangely enough I am even learning to like cat people…. they’re so funny looking.

I find really little kids a bit overwhelming and I think I would be best in a \ home without really little kids. Maybe 8 and up would be good. I am sure we can work on these skills though once I find my place and begin to feel safe and secure.

Given my exuberance for life I can get a little carried away when trying to get a kiss or a cuddle from you but I am working on my manners. It might even be a good idea for us to do some training classes together where I can continue on my journey to being the best dog ever. I’m a quick learner and I come back when you call me. I’m getting the hang of basic commands and with a little more training I’ll be the smartest dog on the block.

More about what I love. Toys, food, walks, people, yep I love all of these things. I love a good bone while lazing in the sun. I really love my toys, especially the chew toys which are great for my teeth and keep me occupied for hours.

During the day, when I am not relaxing in the sun or taking a nap in the shade or on the bed I can be found running around the yard, working on my figure. I’m pretty active and can run and run, so sometimes I can be a bit too much for older dogs who struggle to keep up with me.

At night I am happiest inside with those I love. I sleep where ever my bed is. If I could sleep inside with you it would be like an endless slumber party, oh boy what fun, you could brush my hair I could give you one of my famous lick facials, I can tell already we would be the best of friends.
