About Kei
Introducing Kei,
Kei is Japanese meaning "Blessed, Lucky" & indeed he is. Kei was unfortunately the victim of a dog attack & is recovering extremely well from his injuries. He is a placid yet playful young man who loves human affection. He can seem a little jumpy or untrusting at times but I'm sure this will improve once he's settled into his furever home. He is great with kids & other dogs. He was very interested in the resident cats so we have been very cautious & slow to introduce them but I can now say cats & dog are sharing the house in harmony. Kei has been an outside dog until recently so we are housetraining at the moment. He is currently being crated at night & has been a perfect angel. Kei responds well to voice commands & treat based training so I think training him will be a breeze. I have not yet had the opportunity to test him on a lead but will update in the coming weeks.
Kei travels in the car beautifully & will even have a nap on the back seat.
Kei does not seemed bothered by thunder or lightening.
Kei is med/large & is a mix breed, believed to include Kelpie, Staghound & even German Shepherd but we really can't be sure.
He weighs 17.5 kg on 16/07/15
To adopt this special boy you will need a secure yard, a committment to ongoing training & a promise to love & care for him forever.
Kei comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm/flea treated.
