About Duke
Duke is a very sweet and confident young boy who will be the perfect addition to an active and loving family.
MY IDEAL HOME: I am craving a new life with a special person, couple or family who will involve me in their day-to-day activities and give me lots of attention. I'm very smart - I respond well to training and respond especially well to treats! I am an exceptionally friendly pup and would love to be living with another dog if possible or able to be with my people most of the time.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: My body clock is good at mimicking yours - when you sleep, I'll sleep, and when you're awake, I'll be up and at 'em! I do love a good play, and will need at least two decent walks every day, however I am largely a bit of a couch potato who just loves a good cuddle.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Loud, rambunctious kids worry me a little. I should be fine to live with older, gentle children who know how to play with dogs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am very playful with most dogs. I live with a cat in my foster home, and we are absolute besties!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
