About Mervyn
Mervyn was a very shy boy who yelped when we picked him up. He was incare for about 12 hours when we noticed he had a wound on his rear leg and within a few hours he was seeing the vet. His wound looks to be caused by sharp metal - possible roofing or similar and with this stitched, dressed and bandaged he gradually became a different dog! Poor little guy is now much happier and comes over for pats and cuddles and is more active, outgoing and playful. The vet seems to think the wound was possibly a week old so it will take some time to heal. Mervyn would make a wonderful happy and friendly family dog and although he doesn't look much like his border collie mum, I have pics of her which makes you wonder why he has the smooth coat. An all around great dog.
