About Ralph ~ Jack Russell - (on trial 12/4/15)
Hi I am Ralph, a 2-year-old purebred, rough coat Jack Russell. I am one of the happiest little fellows you could ever hope to meet. I love to play games of all sorts and have bucket loads of energy.
Life is one big adventure and there is so much fun to be had in this great big world. I am looking for a family to get out there and enjoy life with me. I love to go for long walks, exploring new places with my friends. What could be more exciting than finding a new fun place with a buddy or two?
Now you may think you have met some friendly fur people in the past but I can tell you now, they have nothing on me. I am the friendliest little bloke around. I love to meet new dogs and get on well with others. I particularly love people. I love everything about people, from playing fetch with them, laying on them, taking adventures with them...... I just love people of all ages.
I love a good game (or maybe ten games) of fetch. I will play this game with absolutely anything that I can get my mouth around.
Now, you will have noticed from my profile pictures that I am rather a handsome little man. Looks however are only part of the package I have to offer. I am also very intelligent, learn super quickly and love a challenge, be it a new skill or a wickedly awesome trick. I have the basic commands totally under control and walk well on the lead.
As I’m still young, I can get overexcited, particularly when meeting new doggy friends. With further training and care I will make a wonderful addition to the family- provided you don’t have any feathered friends, as I love them a little TOO much if you know what I mean!
While I do enjoy the grass under my feet during the day I am very much an inside dog when my family are home. I need to be able to sleep inside with the rest of the family and I would not be happy to be left outside in the dark. It’s not that I am scared, look at me, you can see I am brave and fearless. It’s just nicer being with those I love when the sun goes down.
Overall I am an easy going, happy fellow with a zest for life, a spring in my step, a love of everyone and desire to find my forever family.
If you think you can offer me a wonderful loving home and would like to meet me please contact Regina on 0409 831 754 or email reginaweiley85@gmail.com. I am in foster care in Newcastle NSW.
My adoption fee is $500 and includes desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
