Utah *On Trial in His New Home*

*UTAH IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* \ Adorable Utah is a healthy, happy and energetic pup who was born in late November last year. SARG took Utah in from Broken Hill where he was uncared for and covered in bush ticks.

Utah is a mix of Boxer/Staffy and Ridgeback, so will be a tall boy, especially if he grows into his feet! He is an upbeat pup who loves to have company as often as possible.

Gorgeous Utah can be a bit cheeky when he gets in his playful mood; he will sometimes be sneaky when he knows he is doing something wrong but with the command ‘uh uh’ he knows to quickly stop what he is doing. He’s a ‘talker’ and tends to growl when hearing strange noises outside so we assume he will be a good watch dog. He adores getting pats and has become a very snuggly boy. Utah has been enjoying an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we would like to see continued in his forever – when inside he is very happy to lay on his bed or sleep at your feet, as long as you’re nearby.

Utah likes to run around the yard with his big foster brother and play tug-of-war. He loves the cat, though can be a bit rough when playing. \ Utah also enjoys having toys to occupy him during the day so that he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief.

As Utah is still a pup he will require ongoing training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. He has picked up “sit” and can do so on command (maybe with a small treat for enticement) and is showing great improvement to “stay” and “drop” when instructed. Utah is a good on a lead and enjoys going for a walk and will need plenty of them as he has lots of energy! Utah loves his food, especially treats, which is helping with his training.
