Murphy ~ bc x Lab puppy (Trial 3/4/15)

Introducing Murphy, 9 week old, male, border collie x Labrador puppy. He is a very active, smart, outgoing puppy. He is a healthy boy and has been very well socialised with other dogs and puppies and gets along fabulously with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. He hasn't met a cat yet but is young enough to think of a cat as just another playmate. He enjoys all sorts of toys and exploring the exciting new world around him.

Murphy has fluffy brown puppy fur with a white blaze on his chest. We think he'll grow up to be medium size or a medium-to-large size adult dog. He needs 6ft high colourbond (or other solid material) fencing with something solid underneath. He cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates should have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).

He will be great family dog and is suitable for children over 7 years old (as he is in that jumping stage right now and might accidently scratch a little child).

Murphy needs go to a home with another friendly, medium or large dog to be his friend and teacher. He adores people so he needs to be allowed inside to be part of the family and to sleep inside in a nice dog bed. We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies.

Ideally, we'd love to see him go to a home where there is someone that doesn't work full time so he doesn't have to spend too much time home alone. He is a so sweet and fun and will make some lucky family very happy.

As Murphy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's 4 or 5 months old.
