About Gabbie
Gabbie is ready for her new home. Her bags are packed. Her boarding pass is filled out. But who's going to be the one picking her up on the other end ?
Gabbie is an almost 3 years old Labrador mix female and on the search for her next adventure. She has fantastic toilet training manners and has shown to be social with other dogs. Before arriving into care, she hadn't experienced a lot of positive interactions with others but after correct and positive introductions to other dogs. She is playful, social and submissive with others and loves a game of rumble and bitey face.
She will do great with an owner who wants an indoor/ outdoor companion. One that can continue her training as she is now fantastic at loose leaf walking and has great basic obedience ranging from recall, sit, stay, come, lay stay and shake.
She is learning to live with other dogs again and has shown that she is a fast and motivated learner.
She isn't suitable to a home that frequents dogs parks or dog beaches as she has had a few too many negative experiences there so they do make her nervous in nature.
She is great in the car. Great with people and young kids and social with cats when introduced correctly.
Fencing 5ft or over is suitable for this girl or rural fencing may suit as well. She loves a car ride so adventures with her new family would suit.
Gabbie would suit a home as an only dog or with another playful and friendly dog. A family that wants her to be apart of the family and continue her training when needed. She is located in the Hunter Region and her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
