Zeek

This handsome boy was surrendered to us after his owner passed away. After a number of weeks at the pound, he is now in foster care, and is settling in well, making friends quite quickly with our older dog.

Zeek was obviously a well-loved dog, who has had some time spent with him, as he is quite well trained and very loving. He sits on command, and is very gentle when taking treats from you. He will also lie down if offered a treat, and we are working on him shaking hands.

Zeek is very treat motivated, so further training will be easy!
Zeek is very quiet when travelling in the car, laying down on the back seat and occasionally looking out the window to see where he is. Being near his people is what he loves, he is happy to lay at your feet (even happier if you are patting him or he is laying next to you!).

He loves a game of tug-of-war, and enjoys a walk every day. He pulls on the lead a bit because he is so excited to go for a walk, but soon settles into a comfortable stride. He loves being off the lead, away from the road, and being allowed to wander and explore his surroundings, and he does come back when called.

Zeek is a loving, loyal boy, who deserves to live out his senior years with a family that adores him.
