About Macy (Cat Tolerant)
Macy is a very special 5 year old who was rescued from a trainer in Nowra. When this beautiful black girl first arrived she found life in a new home a little overwhelming and was extremely timid and anxious. Over time she has thrived being with people who love her. She’s become a clever, affectionate dog that is happiest when she’s close to her humans (just not too close if she’s asleep!). Macy likes a place to call her own and would really benefit from a home where she could have a quiet spot that she can retreat to when it all gets a little bit too much.
She loves meeting new people, knows basic commands and is definitely food motivated. She is very good on the lead and likes slow, calm walks along the river and lazy afternoons on her bed, but will do occasional zoomies at the dog park. She is friendly to indoor cats and currently lives with a chubby black moggie called Angel. Macy sleeps well through the night and is well behaved on car trips.
She would thrive with an owner who can put in some extra time with her in a peaceful place and give her clear boundaries.
Macy is located in Sydney
Cat tolerant.
Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
