About Max - Special Needs
Max is such an amazing boy! He was rescued from a country pound, where he was unclaimed by his previous owner. He had previously had a rear leg removed, but we have no history on why or when this happened.
While in the pound, Max developed a small lump above his eye and by the time he came into care, it had grown quite substantially and began encroaching on his eye. Our wonderful vet removed the lump, which was sent for testing and came back benign. His wound is healing well and he's now ready to find a forever family who will love him for the rest of his days!
Max is good with other friendly cats and not fussed by calm, friendly dogs. He will need an indoor only home or one with a secure enclosure and while he gets around very well on 3 legs, his new family will need to be mindful of what he climbs/jumps from, while he's settling in.
Max is a gorgeous boy with a lot of love to give!
Max is in care in Templestowe

Medical notes
Max goes to his new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated. Max had a rear leg removed prior to coming into care and has had a benign lump removed from above his eye, since being in care.
