About Amber
Amber is a grey, tawny and white Tabby cat that was rescued from a veterinary refuge as an abandoned kitten but her owners are moving to an over 50s community that doesn't allow pets so she is now looking for a new home. Amber is a sweet natured cat who was incredibly close to the family's Fox Terrier (after an initial stand-off) but sadly her doggy pal died two years ago and so she gets a bit lonely sometimes. She is a good mouse catcher and follows family members everywhere when they are outside and is always waiting out the front for someone to come home. Amber is fairly timid and will come into the house to sit on a lap or chair for an hour or so but then wants to go outside again.
