About Beau ~ Maltese x Shih Tzu (Trial 2/4/15)
Hi, I'm beautiful Beau, a 3 year old, male, Maltese x Shihtzu. I'm very friendly and love to play, which makes me great with children, plus I like to make friends with cats too.
I'm an inside dog and need to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. I don't mind being outside during the day when the weather is lovely.
I have a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep me comfortable and handsome.
I would suit a family or retired person who would like to spend time with me and help me practice following my basic commands. I look forward to meeting you!

Beau is in foster care in Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Beau's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
