JD ~ Staffy X- foster fail 21/3/15

Hi, my name is JD and I am a super handsome 7 month old Staffy X. Being a true blue boys boy, I like being outside rolling in the dirt and am at my happiest in the great outdoors. I am full of energy and can’t sit still for long. There is just too much excitement in the world to just let it pass me by.

I love having fun, playing with my toys, especially my ball, and other dogs, and my ball, and little children human people, and my ball. Fetch is fun, have you ever played, maybe I could teach you?

I am still only a young man and I am learning the ropes in this big world. I am getting better at paying attention when someone is trying to teach me a new cool trick and I find that I learn faster with the help of some yummy treats. Ok, let’s lay it all on the table here. I love food. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for a yummy treat. Now is the time to teach me all the basics. I’m young, smart and ready to learn. Maybe we could go to puppy school, wouldn’t that be fun? We could meet new dogs and people and I could learn to be the best family member anyone could ever want. Really... I swear, with a bit of guidance I will fit right in.

I have been working really hard on my toilet training. Apparently humans don’t really like it when we do our business in the house. I have learnt to get attention by walking around and sniffing at the door as a sign I need to duck outside to use the amenities.

I am great with other dogs and love playing. I am a friendly knock-about bloke. I’ve heard about these other furry little things called “cats”. I’ve never met one, I’m not sure they even exist. They do sound interesting and I wonder if I could be friends with one. I would be willing to try if someone were to give us a safe introduction.

I’m a pretty affectionate kind of guy and I love to get my snuggle on, but when we’re finished our night time cuddle, I head out side and sleep in a kennel with my foster brother. While I am happy enough outside I do think it would be even more awesome if I could sleep inside. Imagine it; we could have a slumber party every night, that’s what friends do.
