About Elsa
Hey everyone, it’s Elsa....I’m a very sweet, gentle girl who loves kids and other dogs and am also living with cats, although they still aren’t too sure about me just yet. I’m allowed to live both inside and outside and have a lovely host dog to keep me company when my humans are away. They also have 3 young children who absolutely adore me.
While in my foster home, I’m learning basic obedience commands, including lead walking, recall and sitting and I’m already mastering inside toilet training. My foster mum says I’m a very clever little girl and a quick learner. Of course, if you decide to adopt me, this training would need to be continued along with the opportunity to socialise with other doggie friends, so that I become a well mannered sociable girl who will no doubt provide you with many years of love and cherished memories.
The Maremma Breed: The Maremma breed is a friendly and well-balanced flock guardian, who are brave and determined dogs. They are naturally independent and are described as affectionate, but not dependent dogs. They require a confident and consistent pack leader. Maremma's are highly intelligent and training must be consistent. Maremma's get along well with other dogs and pets and can be slightly reserved with strangers and develop into natural guard dogs. As a pet, the Maremma is not very attached or overly outgoing. This is not a breed for beginners. Medium energy, large breed dog, that will suit an active family, with lots of room to run and play.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
I will be available for adoption after my desexing on 17th March, but if you would like to meet me prior to this date, then a meet and greet can be arranged.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Elsa. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Elsa, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
