About Kody
Kody is a very regretful surrender, as his owners have been transferred overseas for work. He has been a very loved member of the family.
“I am one of the most loyal and gentle dogs you have ever met, and if you’re looking for a companion,
I would love to meet you and show you!
My name is Kody and although I’m a big boy, I am over my growing stage, so I am well-mannered, but still love to play! My hunting breed instincts show through in my character; I am extremely loyal and desire your companionship greatly. But, I also need a lot of running around and exercise to make sure I stay healthy and don’t get bored. I am a very intelligent dog and I pick things up very quickly, but you have to be consistent with me so I respect your decisions.
Things that I am looking for in a family: someone who is active and enjoys the great outdoors – like hiking the You Yangs and walking every day, someone with children and other dogs is great, I love both, but I have never been around cats. Most of all, I am looking for someone who needs a true friend and wants to spend as much time with me as they can.
Things that I will offer my new family: loyalty and unconditional companionship, my mild nature is very obedient, I don’t fight to be dominant over others, even dogs, I rarely ever bark at anything and I am very quiet and gentle, I love all other dogs and children, I never try to break out or run away, I will always stay by your side no matter what.
I am a great cuddle companion, sometimes I forget how big I am and snuggle up into your lap!”
