About Frankie
Frankie is a sweet 6-10 month old grey tabby longing to find a home to call hers. Frankie was found as a stray on a rural property, very skinny and full of worms. The resident that found her mentioned that she had also been attacked by other cats. You could rightly assume her life to that point would make her timid or afraid and not very friendly, however this is not the case with dear Frankie. She is very friendly towards people, always greeting her foster family with a quiet ‘meow’ and an affectionate purr followed by a rub on the legs. She loves company and would make a great companion for a small family with or without children. She would be best suited to a home without other pets.
Frankie has some cute quirks about her. One is her flicking tail – you will find her constantly flicking her tail when she’s happy, usually together with her purring and showing affection. Yet it doesn’t flick when she’s angry, which is usually only when her foster brother and sister cats are in sight, who she doesn’t really like and will raise a hiss towards if she sees them. Another is her fetish for human toes, she loves to rub on them but if the toes walk off with their human, she will give them a little nibble, as if to say, “don’t move!”
Frankie has a deformed back right foot, most probably a deformity from birth, however it does not slow her down or seem to bother her at all. She still manages to walk and run in her own unique way. As her time in foster care progresses, she is showing that she is still a young kitten, loving to chase a ball and play with a dangling piece of string. She is no longer the skinny, scrawny kitten she was when found, now thriving with good food in her belly and no more fleas or worms. All that remains for this striking girl is to find her forever home where her gorgeous nature can continue to flourish.
