About Jessie on hold pending adoption
Jessie is on hold pending adoption.
Meet our Miss Jessie a pedigree female German Shepherd who is at that mature age of life and has found herself in a position where she is homeless.
Jessie came to us in poor condition her former owners had failed to provide her with adequate care, vet attention and nutrition. Her ears were swollen and infected from fly strike, her skin was red and inflamed and her coat was patchy and dry. She was immediately provided with vet attention and medication for her wounds and skin.
Jessie was placed in a foster home with a caring and experienced volunteer and Miss Jessie is now flourishing her ears have healed, her skin and coat are looking great and her spirit and joy of life has returned. Miss Jessie will never be the glamour girl of her youth but her loving nature and playfulness shows her inner beauty.
She loves to be given attention enjoys her meals and gets excited at the sight of a lead and wants a gentle walk each day. Now Miss Jessie is full of life enjoys her foster Mum's attention and is in need of loving home where she can be the centre of attention.
So if you have a home for a gentle loving dog who knows her basic commands, loves to be inside sitting beside you and who can be a bit piggy about her food but we forgive her for this having been starved most of her life.
Jessie would be an ideal companion dog for an older couple or single person who wants a companion to watch tv with her or go for gentle walks around the block.
She would also prefer to be the only dog in the home although she is sharing her foster home with a desexed male German Shepherd who very kindly shares his meals and toys with her.
Jessie is currently located at Kingswood near Penrith and can be viewed by contacting Linda. .
Medical notes
Jessie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated C5, on heart worm prevention. She has also been flea treated and wormed and will be hydrobathed prior to going to her forever home.
