Zulu (On Trial 22/3/15)

CONGRATULATIONS! You have just found your new best friend. Zulu is affectionate, loyal and friendly and will love you more than life itself! She is a Lab x possibly Staffy and her age is approximately 10-12mths. Zulu’s foster carer has had the pleasure of fostering Zulu for the past 2 weeks and she has been adorable.

Zulu loves all dogs, her carer has a small shitzu x jack russell and a kelpie x and she loves them both, she adores every single person she meets, she loves her carers two kids aged 6 and 8 and is very gentle with them, she does jump a little when she firsts sees you out of excitement but we are working on this, but otherwise she is just a beautiful girl.

Zulu would be best suited to a home that already has another dog that loves to play, even though she is young she is not overly active, she will have a play with my dogs for half an hour then will be happy to have rest and she has hardly barked since we have had her.

Zulu loves going for rides in the car, and absolutely loves the water, we have had to get her out of our pool twice, I am sure she would love the beach also :) she loves playing fetch and loves bringing the ball or toy back to you. She is quite obedient and is very gentle with her food and sits and waits patiently for her dinner. Zulu does like to chase things so she would not be suitable for a home that has pocket pets or birds/chooks.

The home she came from had cats and she seemed to be ok with them at that time. Zulu did suffer a bit of separation anxiety when we first got her, she would cry while I was away from the house, but each day it would get better and after 6 days of a normal routine she has slotted into our lives so easily and is one happy and beautiful girl.

Zulu would need secure 6ft colourbond fencing, and preferably with someone who didn't work full time as she loves her human company just as much as dog company. Zulu could adapt to her new owners being at work full time but initially she would need to spend more time with you while she adjusts to her new surroundings and home. Zulu would be happy to sit at your feet while you pat her or cuddle you on the lounge, she is one special girl and I am positive you and your whole family will fall in love with her when you meet her.

Zulu’s adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
