About Miss Bentley ~ Staffy x ~ Remained with owners
Miss Bentley is a 5 year old female Staffy cross. She is good natured and with other medium sized sensible dogs but not so fond of cats or rabbits.
Time with her family is her favourite thing and she adores people. She loves to walk on a leash and is happy to show off her obedience skills. She knows basic commands and is fully house trained. She loves company and being with people, Miss Bentley is happiest just sitting and snuggling with them. She needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside.
A drive in the car is no problem and she travels well. She will require a harness to keep her in her seat as she is a bit of a sticky beak.
As she loves company, she would suit another friendly, adult dog but it's not essential as she is also very people focused. She has such lovely friendly manners.
An ideal forever home for Miss Bentley would consist of a family with older children or even an older couple or single person. She will need higher fencing.
For more information or to meet Miss Bentley, please contact Sam on 0468 958 297 or email inoceans2010@hotmail.com. Miss Bentley is in foster care in The Junction, NSW, Newcastle and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
