About Indi ~ (On Trial 18/3/15) Kelpie x Staffy girl
Hi! My name is Indi and I’m a petite and sweet Kelpie x Staffy girl. I’m only 2 years old but I'm calm and mature like a 5 year old dog. My foster Mum thinks that I’m a perfect lap dog. No matter what size your lap is, if you invite me up I will happily jump on your lap for some licks and cuddles. Do you think you could resist my sweet demeanour? I doubt it very much!
I love walking and I’m great on lead, I would love a morning or afternoon walk every day to the dog park or beach. I will happily fetch a ball or toy and bring it back so you can throw it again. I’m also great off lead, I’ll stay close to you and I come to my name with a quick little trot. One of my favourite things is being in the car, and I'm very well behaved.
I’m terrific with other dogs. I have a very submissive nature and love to be the mother of the group, licking the ears and mouths of the other dogs to clean them and show just how much I love them! I play well with my foster brother and sisters, I would love to live with another dog in my forever home but wouldn’t mind being alone too, provided I had lots of toys, love and attention.
I’m fully house trained and will sleep anywhere you let me. Sometime’s I’m sneaky and hop into my foster Mum’s bed in the middle of the night while she’s asleep for cuddles, and sometimes I sleep in the laundry or lounge room on my dog bed too. I’m pretty easy going and I aim to please.
I can also do some pretty awesome tricks. My foster Mum likes to show everyone that comes over just how smart I am. Her favourite trick is when I play dead after she pretends to shoot me! She thinks I’m pretty intelligent but I tend to just shrug it off. As long as I get a cuddle or a treat in the end, it’s all good! I love my foster family but I need a forever home. Can I come live with you and show you how awesome I am?

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
