Schnappy Chopps

Schnappy chops was born into rescue a few years ago and his owner is now a foster carer for adr. Unfortunately she is moving and will not be able to take her beloved dog with her. Schnapps is a gorgeous boy, people often say he looks like a dingo and he certainly does. Even some of his characteristics and behaviour suggest he has dingo in him and if you have a dingo you will know what i mean as soon as you see him. However the only thing known is that his mum was a red heeler cross. Whatever he has in him, he is the most affectionate dog ever. You can pick him up no worries and if you sit down he will sit on your knee, he absolutely loves people and cuddles! he has basic obedience and will sit when told and for meals etc, this will need to be continued to ensure he always uses his manners. Schnappy is very well socialised with other dogs and puppies, and is fine with chooks and ducks. You will need good fencing if you wish to have schnappy as a companion, he is a very clever boy and without proper fencing he will get out and see what's going on on the other side of the fence. Since he has grown up with many other dogs, i think he would be happiest somewhere with a bit of room and another dog for a companion. He is a very athletic boy, and if you want a dog for running with each day then he is definitely your boy!

It is extremely sad for his owner to have to give him away and she is hoping that he finds a home where he will be looked after well and will be happy. If you like the look of this boy then come and meet schnappy chops!
